Thathri, Oct 6: After remaining closed for six days, the mountainous areas of Gundoh , Khara , Bonjawa , Chilly Pingal and Kilotran were today reconnected with the rest of world as vehicles were allowed to move on the road after clearing of slides.
More than three lakh residents of Bhalessa, Kilotran , Chilly Pingal, Khara and Bonjawa were cut off from the rest of world, after nearly 200 meters of road portion between Thatri and Kilotran was caved in near Donadai, due to landslides.
Deputy Commissioner SV Meena, SSP Doda M S Chowan were supervising the ongoing road opening work. |
