| VHP criticizes illegal bovine transportation | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 6: State VHP President Leela Karan Sharma has expressed his anger towards the illegal transportation of cows and bovine animals by the miscreants.
As per press statement, Sharma informed the media that this illegal transportation of cows and bovine animals was already brought to the notice of the administration various times and a detailed discussion in this regard was held with Deputy Commissioner Jammu who agreed for the stoppage of illegal transportation of cows & bovine animals.
Sharma also informed that DC Jammu has also agreed that transportation of cows & bovine animals shall be done with legal documents & it should be between 5 AM to 9 PM.
Sharma informed the media that yesterday midnight our Bajrang Dal team captured the truck having cows & bovine animals being illegally transported in Akhnoor for slaughtering during the "Eid" & the truck has crossed many police Nakas this shows that this all is going with the convenience of the administration who in one hand assured us for not allowing the transportations of cows and bovine animals illegally but on the other hand facilitating the miscreants in transportation of cows & bovine animals. Sharma further informed that instead of arresting the culprits the police arrested one member of Bajrang Dal and Raghuveer Singh Vibhagh Secretary VHP who was associated with the team capturing the truck & the police allowed the truck to go without seizing the truck & the cows.
Instead of registering an FIR against them under Section 342, 323, 147, 148, 427 & 385 RPC, the case was registered against Raghuveer Singh Vibhagh Secretary VHP. It is strange that in an offence under section 327 the police allowed the truck to go without seizing.
It is also regrettable that the police in the mid of the night illegally enter into the house of Raguveer Singh by jumping the walls abuse the ladies & took away his ailing son suffering from Blood Cancer ignoring the request of the wife & daughter of Raghuveer Singh that the boy is suffering from Blood Cancer & is under treatment. |
