Skaters remove mud from rink | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 6: With administration failed in cleaning the playing arena at Shiva Roller Skating Institute at Peer Kho area of the old city, the Roller Athlete Skating Club Jindrah today launched a drive to remove the mud left out by the recent floods in Tawi. Constructed on the banks of River Tawi, the Rink was completely inundated thereby causing damage to the infrastructure. "Finding no one to clean the skating rink, today we, the senior skaters, launched the cleanliness drive. It is not an easy task though we have decided to make the place worth practice," said international skater, Arya Vir Singh. Important to mention here that the national standard infrastructure in skating at Shiva Roller Skating Institute has been raised by president of Jammu and Kashmir Skating Association, G S Khurmi. |
