JAMMU, Oct 6: Beating XI Brothers Club by 18 runs, Jai Baba Kali Veer Club lifted the title trophy in the Ist Raja Mandlik Night Twenty20 Tournament played at Raja Mandlik ground, Baran, here. Earlier, batting first, after XI Brothers won the toss and opted to field, Baba Kali Veer Club made 115 runs for the loss of seven wickets. In reply, XI Brothers Club could not chase and the whole side bowled out for 97 runs in 14.2 overs. For his match winning performance of 57 (off 30 balls) runs and three wickets, Makhan Singh was declared man of the match. Makhan was also adjudged man of the series for his all round performance of 143 runs and 12 wickets. In the final and prize distribution function, Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Bharat Bhushan was chief guest, who gave away the winners and runners-up trophies as also other individual prizes. Prominent among others present were Sarpanch Baran, Dalbir Singh Chib and Kuldeep Singh Barna. This tournament held under the supervision of Happy Singh Banal, Arun Singh, Rakesh Singh, Vijay Sharma and Ashwani Sharma. |
