KPC condemns Pakistan for unprovoked firing | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 9: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) condemned strongly Pakistani firing on borders of Jammu region in which seven civilians lost their precious lives, fifty five got injured and more than twenty thousand residents of thirty villages along the international border in Jammu have been forced to vacate their homes so for. National president KPC Kundan Kashmiri has urged to Prime Minister Modi and Defence Minister Jaitely to take more tough measures against unprovoked firing by Pak forces and also exposed Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Shrief in the coming summit of SARRC in Nepal for violation of border agreement, internationalizing Kashmir, killing of innocent civilians on borders and infiltrating terrorists to Kashmir valley. Kundan Kashmiri expressed full support on behalf of his community to deal Pakistan effectively on all fronts and hoped that our strong Govt at the center will not succumb under the pressure of Pro- Pak lobbies and their supporters at national and international level to start the dialogue on settled issue of Kashmir. He further said that the reason behind this unprovoked firing by Pakistan was cancellation of foreign secretary- level talks by New Delhi, receiving lukewarm response to Kashmir issue raised in UN General Assembly by Nawaz Shrief and strengthening of foreign relations by Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi. He further said that it would be in the interests of the our nation to talk tough and preclude any possibility of a dialogue until ceasefire violations ends and PAK accepts that Kashmir is a settled issue. |
