| Its business unusual at JU Business School! | | Students awarded 72, 73 marks out of 70 | | Bivek Mathur JAMMU, Oct 9: The highly acclaimed Business school of the University of Jammu is probably the only Business school of the country where students can get over hundred percent marks in an examination- Astounding, but true! The students of the TBS who appeared in their MBA-II semester exam have got 72 and even 73 marks out of a maximum of 70, establishing a record of sorts. Shockingly, the result was even posted on the University website, multiplying the embarrassment. On October 8, 2014, Jammu University declared results of MBA-II semester through a notification on its websitehttp://www.coeju.com. Opening the website leads to sea of errors as number of students have got more than 70 marks in the external examination whereas some students are complaining that despite attempting all the questions they have been shown to have failed on the website of the Jammu University. Early Times has the copy of the Result sheet in which the evaluating authorities of the varsity have given 73, 72 marks to number of students. Early Times has mentioned names of four other students among different students who have got more than the marks fixed as final limit. When contacted, Prof Versha, Director Business School admitted the errors and said that since students started complaining about the same error from the day result was declared on the University website, their complaints have been forwarded to the Examination wing for rectification. It may be important to mention here that the exams of MBA Second Semester were held in May 2014 and the result declared and posted on the varsity website reads that total of 204 students appeared for the examination of which 191 have been shown to have passed, 13 failed and 12 absent. |
