Jammu, Oct 9: The Core Committee of Migrant Cell of Peoples Democratic Party convened a meeting at Party Headquarter, Gandhi Nagar today, in which over all political scenario of the was discussed. In the meeting, speakers said that there is partiality in distribution of relief materials and sluggish process of distribution of relief to flood victims by govt was condemned. It was also alleged that Govt is adopting apathetic approach in rehabilitation of flood victims and demanded that Govt should take steps for rehabilitation on war footing. The speakers demanded that priority should be given to road connectivity so that the fruit growers can send their produce outside the state before the fruit gets rotten in stores and on trees. They also sought that restoration of electricity and water supply which has been damaged due to wind storm. The leaders also discussed the preparations for the visit of President of PDP, Madam Mehbooba Mufti, who is scheduled to address the members of Kashmiri Pandit community on 12 Oct. 2014 at Jagti, Purkhoo and Paloura, alongwith MLAsSartaj Madani, A R Veeri, Dilawar Mir, Rafi Ahmad Mir, Peer Mansoor Hussain, Dr Hasib Drabu, Altaf Bhukhari and Nazir Ahmad Lavey.
