Manjit demands 5 marla plots for border people, reservation | | | Early Times Report
vijaypur, Oct 9: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Manjit Singh today appealed Government to provide 5 marla plots to the Pak firing affected people, reservation for the International Border resident's and also to organize special recruitment drive for them. After visiting various Pak firing affected border villages and meeting injured persons in his constituency Vijaypur, Singh also met injured people. He alleged that the firing affected people have to shift to the safer places by arranging their vehicles from their pockets and it should be arranged by the administration. He said that the people have badly affected with the Pak firing especially children whose studies have been affected. Keeping under these circumstances, he said, Government should provide reservation to the people living along the International Border and also to conduct special recruitment drive. He said that the people have to shift to the camps in the absence of safer places for which Government should provide five marla plots.Later, he condemned failure of the Modi Government in dealing with Pakistan and continuous firing on the border. |
