| KC Gurukul Public School pays tributes to its founder | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 9: KC Gurukul Public School, Paloura conducted special assembly to commemorate the Birthday of its founder patron Satish Mahajan.
According to press release, the KC society is a living testimony to his indomitable will, single minded dedication and unrelenting commitment to his goals.
The function was inaugurated by chairman of the school by offering floral tributes to the portraits of the great legendry Satish Mahajan followed by Academic Director, Staff and Students.
The event was designed to raise awareness and through activities promote the vision and legacy of the beloved founder.
The programme commenced with inaugural speech by the Head boy depicting the vision of the founder, his life and philosophy.
Students paid tribute by the recital of some of his favourite bhajans followed by a devotional song by the junior group.
Prestigious Late Satish Mahajan award of Human values (for primary, Middle and Senior levels) was also conferred to students who had exhibited human values and high level of integrity in their behavior and conduct.
The programme concluded with the address by the Academic Director Vijay Puri who urged the student community to follow the footsteps of the great exemplary figure Satish Mahajan and like him try to carve a niche in society with never give in Spirit. |
