Jammu, Oct 9: Students of Jodhamal Public School, Jammu joined in the national movement of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. According to press release, the students of JMPS with enthusiasm and a wish to keep their city, their India clean, took a pledge to spread the awareness amongst the masses. For this, they went to clean Sabzi Mandi Narwal along with their teachers in charge Shallu Sharma and Sonia Mahajan. They picked up poly bags wrappers, rotten fruits, broken crates & vegetables etc that was polluting the area and causing damage to the human life. They also cleaned the area by sweeping with brooms. Students also spoke to people living in those areas about the importance of cleanliness and what role as a citizen, they can play in making their area neat and clean and free from pollution? The students displayed Banners, Placards and Charts that had information on keeping the area clean. |
