Inter District U- 19 Boys Kabaddi Tournament held at Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Oct 9: Inter District U- 19 Boys Kabaddi Tournament was held at HSS Girls Kishtwar.
The tournament was organized by Directorate of Youth Services & Sports department J&K under the secretary ship of Dewan Chand Thakur, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Kishtwar and direct patronage of Naveen Agarwal, Director General of Youth Services & Sports J&K.
The concluding function was presided Over by Rajinder Singh Sen, Chief Education Officer Kishtwar While Principal HSS Girls, Prehlad Bhagat was the special invitee.
Total three matches were played today including two semi finals and one final match.
First semi final was played between District Jammu & District Udhampur, in which District Jammu defeated District Udhampur by 33 points. Udhampur team secored 14 points where as Jammu team secored 47 points. The 2nd semi final was played between District Kishtwar & District Kathua, and Kathua won match by 21 points. Kishtwar team scored 21 points where as Kathua team scored 42 points.
The final match was played between the teams of District Jammu and District Kathua in which District Kathua won the match by 4 points. District Jammu scored 29 points while District Kathua scored 33 points. Impressive Speeches were held on the occasion by CEO Kishtwar , DYSSO Kishtwar, Dewan Chand Thakur and Prehlad Bhagat. The chief guest and guest of honour while awarding prizes amidst cheers of all participants. One of the players of District Kathua and the coach accompanying them shared their views and acclaimed the treatment given to them by the people of the area and others.
The officials who were present on the occasion include, Chander Shekhar( Lecturer Physical Education HSS Boys Kishtwar), (Over all In charge of Tournament) Subash, PEM HSS Boys, Subash Chander ( Zakhmi), Joginder Singh, Suresh Kumar Parihar, Roshan Lal, Zorawar, Sanjay Sen, Javed Kriypak, Susheel Sharma, Karnail Singh, Arshad Chowdri, Bharti Sherwat, Reva Sharma and others.
