| Army organizes Kho-Kho tourney | | | Early Times Report
bhadernah, Oct 9: Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhaderwah under the aegis of the Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) took an initiative and organized Pir Panjal League Kho Kho Tournament at Bhaderwah for girl students.
According to press release, a total of eight teams of different schools from Bhaderwah tehsil will be participating in the Tournament consisting from Bhadarwah, Sitengal, Chinta, Malothi and Bhalra and nearby villages. The matches were played as per knock out basis. A total of eight matches will be played between the teams.
The tournament was inaugurated by Bhusan Sharma, Principle, Govt Hr Secondary School (Girls), Bhadarwah in presence of teachers rep of all participating school appreciated the efforts of Army in promoting and motivates students towards sports while organising such activities.
The inauguration match was played between Govt Higher Secy School, Bhalra and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhadarwah. The Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhadarwah won by 6/5. A total of 150 students, teachers and locals witnessed the event from several nearby villages, which highly praised the Army for the conduct of the Tournament. On this occasion Mr Bhusan Sharma, Principle, Govt Hr Secondary School (Girls), Bhadarwah thanked Army for organising this event and said that these kind of activities keep them motivated and has brought peace and brotherhood. |
