| Sai Shyam College holds ‘Alumni Meet’ | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 9: Sai Shyam College today organized an Annual Alumni Meet in college premises in which a large number of ex-students of the college participated enthusiastically and recalled their experiences during the stay in the college.
State commissioner J & K State Bharat Scouts and Guides I D Soni was the Chief Guest, while S K Jain President Vichar Kranti Manch (I) was the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
The Programme began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries. Welcoming the dignitaries and Alumni, the Principal of the college Dr Usha Tickoo congratulated the Alumni of the College for working on prestigious posts in schools and colleges both in Govt and Private Sector in different states of India. A colourful programme was presented by the college students on the occasion.
Chief guest I D Soni in his address expressed his satisfaction on the qualitative growth of the college and congratulated the management of the institution for organizing for this. He further advised the alumni to remain in touch with the college and participate in its growth and development.
S K Jain and Dr J L Raina also spoke on the occasion. During the proceedings of occasion, the annual college magazine “Pragaash” was also released by the special invitees. Later chief guest also presented mementos to the alumni.
Ms Suman Bhagat Student of the College conducted proceedings while Ms Rajni Koul presented the vote of thanks. |
