| BDA's disengaged CL workers meet Azad | | | Bhaderwah, Oct 9: Disengaged CL workers of Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) have appealed Opposition Leader in Rajya Sabha Gulam Nabi Azad to intervene and restore their services forthwith. "We have spent our precious years in the BDA and were disengaged without any reason by Chief Executive Officer," said a delegation of aggrieved disengaged workers to former Chief Minister Gulam Nabi Azad here today. Joginder Singh , Ajaz Ahmed , Roshan Lal , Mohd Azad , Syed Hussain , Arun Kumar , Rajesh Kotwal , Mukesh Kumar , Mohd Rafiq , Shanshah , Mukesh Kumar , Ajay Kumar , Ajaz Ahmed and other disengaged workers said that many among them have crossed the upper age limit set by the government for applying to any government job. They further said a week ago Chief Executive Officer (CEO) BDA disengaged all 80 CL workers but after that reinstate 45 and disengaged 35 by adopting pick and choose policy and is making the excuse of lack of funds. Delegation of workers also alleged that CEO BDA has adopted pick and choose policy in reinstating the CL workers previously as he again engaged only blue eyed boys who belongs to influential political back grounds. Delegation demanded intervention of Azad to reengage them in the Authority so that they will run the livelihood of their families as all belongs to poor families and also demanded immediate transfer of CEO BDA and inquiry in misuse of funds by him in BDA from the last two years. MLA Bhaderwah M S Naiz also called on Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad and sought his intervention in reinstatement. |
