Jammu, Dec 24: Ongoing State Athletic Championship held at Hargobind Bhatnagar Stadium BSF Paloura, Jammu from 22nd to 25th December, 2014, organized by J&K Athletic Association under the aegis of J&K Sports Council and J&k Olympic Association entered 3rd day today.
The Third day result of the championship are as in 5000 Meters Open Men, Naresh Kumar (JKP) bagged 1st position,Riyaz Ahmed (JKP) stands 2ndwhile Lal Singh (JKP) remained at 3rd place.
In Discuss throw (Women), 1st Position was attained by Jaswinder Kour (JKP), 2nd by Gulshan (Udh.) and 3rd by Tajinder Kour (JMU).
In 400 Meters Men, Danish Yousuf (JKP) remained at 1st place while Parveen Singh (JKP) and Zubair Ahmed (JKP) at 2nd and 3rd place.
In 400 Mtrs U/16 (Girls), 1ST position was bagged by Jaspreet Kour (JMU) and Sakshi Chauhan (JMU) remained at 2nd whereas Monika Bisht (JMU) at 3rd place. In Long Jump U/18 Yrs (Boys), Deepak Yadav (JMU) stands 1st, Vishal Singh (JMU) at 2nd place and Inpreet Singh (JMU) at 3rd place. Besides Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, S Ravinder Singh, S S Gill, Sharat Singh, Shamsher Singh, Samarjit Singh, Sheikh Tulel, Chamel Singh, S. Sarabjit Singh, Nirmal Singh, S Gurbachan Singh, S Baljinder Singh, Shamus-ud-Din, Tabir Ahmed, Coaches were also present. |
