GCE organizes seminar on 'Mathematics and its Applications' 12/24/2014 11:29:03 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 24: Government College of Education (GCE) today organized seminar on 'Mathematics and its applications' in connection to the celebration of National Mathematics Day on the Birth Anniversary of Shri Nivasaramanjan a great Indian Mathematician. According to press release, College principal Professor Ajeet Angral was the Chief Guest on the occasion. While inaugural address Angral motivated the students to use Mathematics in their life for brining quality and accuracy. Prof. Aju Bala spoke on the life history of Shri Nivasaramanjan and his contributions in the field of his subject. She further highlighted Maths has the Science of all the sciences and arts of all the arts and its applications in making teaching learning process more effective.
