BARAMULLA, Dec 27: A Lok Adalat comprising of three benches was held under the Chairmanship of First Additional District and Sessions Judge, Baramulla, Parvez Hussain Kachroo at District Court Complex Baramulla today. The Lok Adalat was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Baramulla. As many as 262 cases of different nature were taken up during the Lok Adalat, out of which 115 cases were settled amicably. An amount of Rs. 35,000/- was realized as fine under various cases during the Lok Adalat. Officials of Court Members, Bar Association and large number of litigants were also present on the occasion. |
