| MCB launches cleanliness drive in Bhaderwah | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, Dec 27: Municipal Committee Bhaderwah (MCB) launched 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Bharderwah.
Executive Officer Municipal Committee ,Tariq Mehmood Balwan flagged off the campaign today . Much before the event started, hundreds of participants armed with brooms landed up outside the office of MCB near Pasri Bus stand Bhaderwah .
Hundreds of empolyees and local people of Bhaderwah town also took a pledge to keep the city clean.
After concluding the cleanliness drive in all streets and roads of Bhaderwah town , EO MCB Tariq Balwan in a speech which was cheered by the crowd he asked people to pledge that they will devote 100 hours every year and two hours ach week on keeping the city clean.
The Bhaderwah Municipal Committee employees were also present on the occasion with some tractor and trolleys along with brooms. Even officers from MCB were on a cleaning spree and MCB will take this drive beyond its office and will take it as a national commitment.
We will support the campaign both by lending our ideas and resources," said Balwan. EO MCB along with clerical staff which included Khalifwarzi , Sanitary Officers , Assistants and others along with Sweepers also picked up brooms and started the cleanliness campaign. |
