Police solves 'burglary case,' recovers valuables, cash | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Dec 27: Police claimed to have solved a burglary case under the jurisdiction of Police Station Budhal with the arrest of one person, besides recovering of gold jewellery and cash on the disclosure of the accused. "The accused has been identified namely as Mohd Ashraf s/o Abdul Aziz r/o Gundha who during sustained questioning admitted his crime, police said. According to police spokesperson, Rajouri police have solved a burglary case and apprehended a youth along with stolen items and cash. "Following a complaint from Muneer Hussain of Gundha in Budhal December 12 lodged with the police about a robbery in their house on the intervening night of December 8/9." "Couple in their complaint lodged at Khawas Police Post claimed that some unidentified persons barged into their house and decamped with 03- gold nose pins, 04-silver bangles, 01-silver ring, 04-silver ear rings and cash Rs 800/-," police said adding, "accordingly a FIR under sections 457/380 RPC (FIR 91/2014) was registered against the unidentified accused and Sub Inspector Sanjeet Kumart ,in-charge police post started investigation under the supervision of Tajinder Singh, Additional SP. During the investigation police apprehended above mentioned suspect who during sustained questioning admitted his crime. On his disclosure, Police recovered all the stolen items and cash from the possession of the accused. |
