| Youth alleges thrashing by PSI over a tiff | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 27: A youth was allegedly thrashed badly by a Sub-Inspector over a petty issue at his house in Talab Tillo area.
Injured identified namely as Nitin s/o Janak Raj of Talab Tillo today alleged that he had a pending dispute with owner of a service center at Gandhi Nagar and the former Station House Officer (SHO) of Gandhi Nagar persuaded to settle the dispute between the two parties but he was transferred in the meantime.
Narrating the incident, an attendant of injured Nitin said, "Today a Probationer Sub-Inspector (PSI) posted in Gandhi Nagar Police Station thrashed him (Nitin) in his house at Talab Tillo resulting injuries to him and then was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for treatment where a Medico Legal Case (MLC) too has been registered by the doctors.
However In-charge Police Post Talab Tillo, PSI Sumeet Sharma told that he had received information from Police Control Room (PCR) following which an Investigation Officer (I/O) was deputed to GMC&H for registering statement of the victim but so called injured was not traced till now. |
