Army organizes essay writing, painting competition 1/11/2015 10:51:20 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 11: On the occasion of 'Army Day' the Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah organized 'Essay, Painting and Slogan Writing Competition' at Channi, Dharamkot and Goha respectively. According to press release, an 'Essay writing competition' was organised at Channi. A total of 63 students in the competition. The response was overwhelming and the event witness active participation by the students. Abdul Lathif Mir, Postmaster of Chinta presented prizes to the winners and remarked that "such initiatives by the Army are always appreciated and will go a long way towards spreading the message of bravery of our heroes. A 'Painting Competition' was organised at Dharamkot. A total of 54 students participated in the competition. The students participated whole heartedly and surprised one and all with their sense of creativity and talent.
