Jammu, Jan 11: Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof. R. D. Sharma visited the Udhampur campus of the University and had on spot assessment of the infrastructural development in the campus. He was accompanied by the special Secretary to the VC Jai Kumar Sharma, Prof. Desh Bandhu Gupta, Director, CDC, Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Co ordinator campuses, Er. Ashwani Mengi, AEE, Udhampur Campus, Er. Jeevan Singh, AEE. Electrical and Irfan Goni, Development Officer.
Vice Chancellor was briefed about the academic and developmental works by Prof. Anil Raina, Rector, and Udhampur campus.
Vice Chancellor stressed the need to develop the campus as the educational hub in terms of teaching and research so that students of the area are benefitted with the quality education programmes of University of Jammu.
To have the on spot assessment of the curriculum and overall performance of the teachers and students he had a detailed interaction with the faculty members of both Commerce and Economics Departments functional in the campus.
Teachers who interacted with the VC included Jyoti Bahl, Dr Vipul Chalotra, Dr. Neetu Kumari, Mamta Sharma and Pradeep Kumar of Commerce, Dr Rajni Sharma, Taruna Dubey, Jhanvi Khanna and Vinod Sharma of Economics department. |
