| Sham emphasises on role of youth for crucial change | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 11: Senior Congress leader and former Minister Sham Lal Sharma today emphasized on the role of youth for crucial change.
According to press release, addressing one day convention of Youth Congress Committee block Akhnoor, Sham Lal Sharma said, "Youth are the builder of nation, their energy and vision of better, prosperous and secured future, if not given due regards by the policy makers of the country certainly to cause frustrations, "he called upon them to unite themselves to strive for their rights and assured dignified place in Congress through Indian Youth Congress.
He sharing the popular anguish and resentment among youth because of negligible employment opportunities in Government and public sector undertakings, specifically in Jammu region, exhorted them to opt for more technical, professional and skilled education to enable themselves to seek better career avenues in IT sector.
Sharma at the similar time shown serious concern over these private jobs which only available outside of their state, forcing these youth to leave their age old parents guardians at the mercy of God, which has emerged as most burning and challenging social problem in Jammu region and stressed some thinking on this social problem advocated for more and more adoption of Self Employment Schemes to serve their motherland and family while to earn respectfully.
He urged upon central government to launch special Army Recruitment Rallies in Jammu Border Areas to provide immediate source to brave and warrior youth of the region to serve their nation.
He accused BJP for pursuing their hidden but hijacked agenda of Huriyat Conference to create political uncertainties in Jammu and Kashmir state was least interested in government formation ,however, to exploit this in Dehli Assembly elections to polarization of vote banks to see their party in power by all means. BJP made J&K state as their political scapegoat though their political melodrama after Dehli assembly elections will be re stage to share power in J&K too bargaining JAMMU interests completely.
Sharma,called upon Jammu Youth to join IYC to strengthen secular and nationalist forces as its the need of the hour.
He promised them due and more crucial political challenging role in Congress, said Jammu youth have more responsible role to play in seeking long denied Rights of their region as ,"JAMMU NO MORE TO PLAY SECOND FIDDLE TO KASHMIR,"and Congress determined to begin it with separate Regional Development Council for Jammu for which we must struggle unitedly. |
