Bhim's suggestion to CM Mufti has no takers | Expulsion of BJP ministers' | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 3: Panthers Party supremo Bhim Singh, who always wishes to remain in the news for good or bad reasons or by issuing ridiculous statements, has once again courted a controversy. What has made his adversaries to taunt him and dismiss his suggestion as childish is his appeal to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti that she should dismiss forthwith all the BJP ministers from the government and seek vote of confidence within four weeks from the day she expelled the BJP ministers. He told the Chief Minister that the expulsion of the BJP ministers from the government was essential to protect secular democracy in the state. Warning the Chief Minister, Bhim Singh said that her association with the BJP has led to chaos and anarchy in the state and it would be only politically prudent if she snapped her ties with the RSS-BJP. "Remove all BJP Ministers from the state government," he said, and added that "she (Chief Minister) must hold Assembly Session within four weeks from the date of removal of BJP Ministers from the government". She should declare that "she will seek vote of confidence from the Members of the Legislative Assembly, that she should declare that she will step down if defeated in the Assembly vote and that she would pass the test on this bonfire and shall restore her place as a political successor of Mufti Mohd. Sayeed, who had stood for justice, equity and equality of the people of all the three regions," he, in fact, told the Chief Minister, and further added that the results would be disastrous "if she failed" to sack the BJP ministers and ended her ties with the BJP. There is no taker for his suggestion. In fact, many have taunted him and ridiculed his suggestions. One may or may not believe but the fact of the matter is that not a single person has supported his suggestions. Just turn to the social networking sites to find the response his suggestions have evoked and you would find 100 per cent of those who commented on his suggestion rejected him as a non-serious politician. Interestingly, even his party members didn't come to his rescue. This is the position. |
