| DRS kids celebrates 10th Annual Day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 6 : DRS Kids Samba celebrated its 10th Annual Day function enthusiastically at Teacher Bhawan Auditorium, Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Speaker of Legislative Assembly J&K, Kavinder Gupta was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He was presented a memento by Royal Vidya Peeth Educational Trust Samba. The programme was started with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana.
Ritu Sambyal, Principal DRS Kids presented the welcome address and Adarsh Vidya Peeth performed a colourful cultural programme including Dogri and Bhangra etc. and enthralled the audience with their mesmerising performances. They enacted skits on the theme of Clean India, Green India, Beti Padaoo Beti Bachao and Sawacch Bharat Abhiyan. A religious performance on Ramayana was also presented by students.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest applauded the students and appreciated the teachers as well as management of the school for their sincere efforts to provide the students quality education.
He gave away the prizes to students and teachers.
Anupam Singh, Principal of Adarsh Vidya Peeth concluded the programme by presenting vote of thanks. |
