Poonch, Mar 25: The premature transfer of SDPO Sunarkote, who was curbing drug menace, has created resentment among the people of Surankote
People alleged that certain scrupulous elements which are associated with politics got premature transfer of SDPO, who was honestly working and weeding out drug menace in the area. "It has become propagation in state that political leaders didn't want any honest and dedicated police/civil officers at any reasonable post," they said.
According to the sources, Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) was made victim of cheap politics whose pre-mature transfer came to effect a day before. According to locals, the said SDPO was honestly working against drugs peddlers and anti social evils and some self styled political leaders who were hand in gloves senior police officers got managed his transfer.. Locals of Surankote especially JKIM, ABVP Surankote youth and other social organizations appealed to Director General of Police and IGP Jammu to repost the SDPO to Surankote. |
