Jammu, Mar 25: Duggar Pradesh Party today strongly condemned BJP-PDP alliance Government for brutal lathi charge, teargasing and firing on the protesters at Nowshera and described it a part of attempt to disturb bring unrest in Jammu region to equate Kashmir.
Mr Uday Chand, President of the Party said the Rajouri District was put on fire by the PDP by appointing ADC at Koteranka, without any demand of the local people which instigated the people of Nowshera, Kalakote & Sunder Bani for the same and the local activists of BJP also exploited the situation. Both National Conference and Congress activists put fuel on the fire and help to worsen the situation.
Uday Chand strongly appealed to the people of Nowshera to maintain peace at all costs while protesting as the Government will intrude its touts to create violence to curb and fail the agitation which was the old practice of the rulers.
He said it is very unfortunate that the PDP-BJP successfully divide the people of Rajouri District especially of tehsils of Nowshera, Kalakot & Sunder Bani fighting against each other on the mere demand of power less post of ADC instead demanding another District centrally located between three and that is Siot.
Mr Uday Chand reiterated its appeal to the people of Nowshera to suspend the agitation, form a joint committee of Nowshera, KalaKote & Sunder Bani and unitedly fought for another district in a centrally located place. |
