Jammu, Mar 25: The medal winners from J&K that participated in the federation cup of Power lifting, Bench press at Jamshedpur were honoured today by Kunal Chib president of the J&K power lifting association.
It is noteworthy that Jagbir Singh from J&K and Vikramjeet Singh to won the silver medal and gold medal respectively. In bench press 120 Kg category Jagbir Singh won gold medal and lifted 245 Kg bench press and Akhil Mehra won bronze medal, Vikramjeet Singh also won gold medal in bench press. Jagbir Singh was declared the first runner-up best lifter in the country speaking on the occasion president of the association Kunal Chib congratulated the medal winners for bringing laurels for the state. He assured full support to the sports person for their future endavours.
General Secretary of the association Parvinder Kour, Vice-President Manoj Kumar Bakshi and Joint Secretary Narendra Singh were also present during the function. |
