Poonch Police Sports Festival enters 3rd day

POONCH, Mar 25: Poonch Police Sports Festival 2018, being organised under Civic Action Programme entered third day, here today. The young boys and girls are participating in all the events with zeal and enthusiasm.
Today table tennis and badminton events were played at Krishna Chander Park, Poonch.
SSP Poonch Rajiv Pandey, DYSP (DAR) Mohan Sharma, officials from youth & sports department, media persons and a large number of locals were present on the occassion. In the boys badminton single event Arvinder Singh lifted the fianl trophy while in table tennis singles Faisal Mir lifted trophy.
In girls table tennis event Vanshika Rana emerged as the winner and in boys table tennis doubles Pratham Suri and Ridham Kapoor emerged as the winners.
Similarly as a part of sports festival volleyball matches were played at Loran. ASP Poonch Anwar ul Haq was the chief guest while Major Manish Yadav was the guest of honour on the occasion. SHO Loren Shakeel Ahmed, prominent citizens and large number of locals were also present on the occasion. Four teams participated in volleyball tournament held at Government Middle School Loran in which Pirpanjal Club defeated the Titan club in final exciting match.
The locals applauded poonch police for organising such events in far off places and channelising the energy of youth.
