Jammu, Mar 25: J&K state Wushu team secured 05 Medals in the 16th Junior national Wushu champio ship held at Kurukshetra (Haryana) from 18th to 22nd March 2018.
Tanshiv Raina secured silver medal in the 70kg losing to Haryana while as Ishant Singh (56kg) Naveed (75kg), Munaza gazi (60kg) Qaraat Khan, Parkhi secured Bronze medals. The Wushu Association of India shall organise the National wushu coaching for the junior players from 15th April at SAI Bhopal for the preparation of the India Wushu team.for the 9th Junior world Wushu championship to be in held in Brazil -2018.
The office bearers of the Wushu Association of J&K congratulated the medalists and hope they could reserve their berth for the National coaching camp for the junior world Wushu championship. Vijay Saraf (President) and Sh. Kuldeep Handoo (General secretary), kamal Kishore, Nissar Ahmed, Lalit Singh were present during the function. |
