JAMMU, Apr 12: S.S. Sodhi, Chairman J&K Intellectual Civil Society, New Delhi held a meeting with all the members of the civil society and had a long discussion with them regarding empowerment of youths for keeping them busy in one way or the other, so that they may not indulge in anti social or any anti National activities and ruined themselves . Rather we should empower them so that their potential is exploited for their benefit and also for the country.
Sodhi, also expressed that there is no doubt that the youths are the leader of tomorrow and stated that if they are empowered, majority of them will not indulge in anti social or anti national activities even though some of the problem are due to ignorance but if the ignorant are empowered through proper awareness, positive results can be achieved. The energy that would have been used to work toward a better Nation is being used in various social evils (Drugs abuse, Gangsters etc) which sometimes leads to premature deaths, destruction of properties etc. Chairman further stated if every youth in the society have one good thing at least keeping them busy, there will be less time for them to participate in the social evils. Consequently there will be tremendous reduction in the rate of social evils. |
