| Ritika of Spring Dales Kathua emerges as National Winner | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 14: Ritika Sharma, a Class 11th student of Spring Dales English School Kathua is one of the 30 national winners of DRDO National Level Essay Writing Competition- 2017 on the topic "DRDO: Achievements and Way Ahead". She is the only student in the national winner list from J&K, HP and Punjab region in Category-I (Perusing school student 9th-12th). All 30 national winners will receive Rs. 2000 cash prize and a certificate from DRDO. Ritika achieved 2nd position in 8th Class Board Examination and secured 97% marks in 10th Class Board Examination. She is committed to become a doctor in future. Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence conducted National Level Essay Competition to celebrate its 60th year. The essay competition was aimed at motivating the 'the students of this country towards defence technology along with awareness about the achievements and progress made by DRDO for nation building in the past 60 years in various areas of military technology.' |
