PDP has its way, BJP falls in line
Second Fiddles!

Early Times Report
jammu, Apr 14: Peoples Democratic Party has once again had his way. It has prevailed upon its coalition partner Bharatiya Janata Party and has ensured that two Ministers, who had participated in the rally organized by Hindu Ekta Manch to seek transfer of Kathua and rape and murder case to Central Bureau of Investigation, are shown the door.
An analyst told Early Times that BJP has once again proved that saffron party is nothing but a second fiddle to the PDP. "These Ministers had participated in the rally two months ago but no action was taken against them during these two months," he said, adding that "PDP's threat to pull out from the coalition in Jammu and Kashmir has worked and BJP has fallen in the line."
It's in place to mention here that two BJP Ministers Chander Prakash Ganga and Chaudary Lal Singh were sacked on Friday for participating in the HEM rally.
A political analyst said, "Since the day PDP and BJP have joined hands in Jammu and Kashmir PDP has been a dominating partner and has taken all the decisions during the past three years."
He said, "All the plum ministries are lying with the PDP and all the major decisions are unanimously taken by the PDP Ministers. It looks like that BJP has no role in the decision making."
A Kashmir watcher said that PDP tactfully built pressure over the BJP to seek the resignations from Ganga and Lal Singh. "After resisting initially, the BJP central leadership succumbed and ensured that both the ministers resign before the PDP meeting is held in Srinagar," he added.
A politician said the latest statement of the Tourism Minister, Tasaduq Mufti, who is also the brother of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, was issued just to build pressure on the central government. "Soon after Ganga and Lal Singh tendered their resignation, Tasaduq issued another statement stating that there is no threat to the coalition and whatever he said was his personal opinion," the politician added.
He said, "Non performance of BJP Ministers has already disappointed the people of Jammu. Despite two senior Ministers being sacked there has been no reaction from the people."
An observer said, "Had the BJP Ministers performed today people would have come out for their support but their non-performance has pushed them away from the people."
He said, "People not reacting to sacking of Ganga and Lal Singh should serve as an eye opener for the other BJP Ministers."
