Shiv Sena demands opening of Ladakh route to Amarnath Holy Cave by 2019

JAMMU, Apr 30: Shivsena Bala Saheb Thackrey J&K Unit urged Governor N.N Vohra, who is also Chairman of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, opening up of current Yatra registration counters at Pahlgam and Baltal like Jammu and demanded to quick completion of alternative Track to the cave shrine of Amarnath through the frontier region of Ladakh.
While talking to media person State General Secretary Manish Sahni appreciated the decision of Shri Amar Nath Shrine board for opening on-spot registration centers in Jammu ( Jammu Railway Station, Jammu Haat and Vaishno Dham and Geeta Bhawan) and the same has been demanded at Baltal and Pahalgam. Sahni also demanded fast track completion of an alternative route to the cave shrine of Amarnath through the frontier region of Ladakh.
Vice President Rajan Gupta said that Shiv Sena strongly advocated the need of opening up of all the track routes to Holy Cave, interested Yatris should be encouraged and facilitated to use air/land route via Leh-Kargil-Drass-Baltal to Holy Cave," he said adding that this route involves least additional facilities and pilgrims can even start early morning from Drass and return to Drass in the evening after having Darshan.
