MENDHAR, Apr 30: Two days long religious function was organised in the historical Mandir of Lohar Devta with the commencement of Ramayan Path under the chairmanship of Advocate Rajinder Singh.
According to the faith of the devotees, a number of Mundans of small children were also performed at this ages old temple, said to have been constructed by the Pandavas. A Vishal Langar was also served to the devotees belonging to all walks of life who reached on this occasion from different places.
Prominent among those who were present on this occasion include Commander 93 Bridage Poonch , Commander Krishna Ghati Brigade, SSP Poonch, Rajiv Pandey Commanding officer 200Bn BSF Uchhad SDPO Mendhar, Rayaz tantary SHO Mendhar Mohd amin and Ex Sarpanch Nazir Ahmed. |
