JAMMU, May 1: On the occasion of May Day 2018, the symbol of international solidarity and unity of the working class, the J&K State Committee of CITU organized a massive rally comprising of different unions and associations that included Railway Loading and Unloading Workers Unions, Industrial Estate Workers union, Nirman Mazdoor Union, Coca Cola; Workers Union, Chenab Valley Hydro Project Workers Union, ASHA Workers Union, Rehri - Fadi Workers Union Jammu, Insurance Sector Empolyees Association, in front of Press Club Jammu. The workers holding red flags, banner and placards in their hands were shouting slogans for the unity and integrity of the working class of the world.
While addressing the workers Om Parkash, General Secretary, J&K state CITU said the working class all over the world cannot forget the revolutionary sacrifices and achievements of the heroic struggle of 1886 in Chicago.
Sham Parshad Kesar, senior CITU leader while addressing the rally said that the Modi led government at the centre is pampering the national and multinational corporations and big business houses with bonanzas. |
