| Locals encroach SDH Mendhar land | | Hospital craves for boundary wall | | MS Nazki

Poonch, May 1: Locals residing in the vicinity of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Mendhar have been encroaching the land of health institution while it has been craving for an outer compound wall since years, source said here today. Owing a chunk of 16.7 kanal land, SDH Mendhar has been craving for a boundary wall since years as without a compound wall the locals have been also dumping the garbage and filth in the premises of SDH Mendhar putting the lives of patients to risk, sources said adding besides some locals have been encroaching its land, they added. The matter has been brought a number of times into the notice of Revenue Department by the Block Medical Officer Mendhar but no action was taken despite repeated pleas said BMO, Dr Pervez Khan adding I shot a letter to Revenue Department urging therein to demarcate the land of the hospital lent there was totally a cold response on their part Dr Parvez added Unofficial sources confirmed that the tenders were called for the construction of the compound wall of the hospital earlier, and funds too were allotted but were simultaneously diverted to some other account by the authorities they added. A humble appeal has been made to CMO and DDC Poonch to take the cognizance of matter and steps be taken to construct a compound wall to SDH Mendhar after duely demarcation of its land by Revenue Department. |
