Anganwari workers stage protest 5/2/2018 12:27:50 AM Early Times Report Vijaypur, May 1: The Anganwari workers and helpers organized a massive demonstration at Vijaypur, here today in connection with their long pending demands. The protesters while raising slogans in support of their demands warned to intensify the agitation in case the demands were not conceded immediately by the Government. The protesters demanded enhancement of honorarium of Anganwari workers and helpers at par with the States of Haryana, Punjab and Delhi where per month honorarium given to a worker is Rs 10,000. They said that the State Government is utilizing the services of Anganwari workers and helpers in over a dozen departments and for various schemes and projects but it is unfortunate that the Government never bothered to improve their economic condition.
