| Locals protest against MLA | | |  M S Nazki

Mendhar, May 1: Member of Legislative Assembly Mendhar (MLA) Javed Rana's native villagers (Kalaban Residents) lodged a massive protest demonstration against him (Rana) over the making of the buildings of Dana Shah-star University. The protest was broken out in the leadership of Chairman Kissan Mazdoor Union, Mendhar Choudhary Munawar Hussain early in the morning. Hundreds of youths of the mentioned village joined the protest and raised the slogans against the present sitting Member of Legislative Assembly from Mendhar Constituency, Javed Rana.
The sloganeer called him (Rana) 'a stool of politics' and Javed Rana, Dana Shahstar mat Ana, Aafiat Isi Ma Hai Ke Odhr Se Bagh Jana, some youth called him, Javed Rana Murda Baad... Sources said that locals blamed on NC MLA Mendhar to not taken them into confidence, because there university is proposed where their meadows and pastures. Sources said that the owners of those pastures and meadows are not been consulted and resented before the demarcation of university, so why they were raised their voices up against the MLA Mendhar. Sources further said that the protesters blamed on NC MLAto not tell them about the University and they cannot leave their meadows lands for University buildings. |
