| Four absconders arrested by Police | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 14: Police today claimed to have arrested four absconders who are wanted in different FIRs registered at police station Bakshi Nagar.
A police spokesman said that on May 13, a special team led by SHO Bakshi Nagar, Inspector Naresh Sharma under the supervision of Pranav Mahajan SDPO City west and SP City North Dr Vinod Kumar under the command of Vivek Gupta SSP Jammu apprehended four absconders who were absconding since long in different criminal cases of police station Bakshi Nagar.
Police identified the arrested absconders as Som Nath alias Somi of Krishna Nagar Jammu (absconding since 28 years in a case under FIR number 258 /1990 U/S 457/ 380 of RPC), Amit Gill of Dogra Mohalla, Jammu and Sunil Kumar of Resham Ghar Colony Jammu (both are absconding in a case under FIR No. 126/2012 U/S 452/323/34 RPC).
Meanwhile, Manish Khanna of Rehari Colony Jammu who was absconding in a case under FIR NO. 31/ 2012 u/s 341/323/34 RPC was also arreted. The spokesman said that one absconder namely Tara Ram of Sundarbani Rajouri who was absconding in a case under FIR No. 117 of 2001 U/S 326/307/ 148/ 34 RPC has been struck off from the list of absconders after obtaining his death certificate.. |
