| DPS Nagbani Celebrates Mother's Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 14: DPS Nagbani celebrated Mother's Day by holding a special Assembly in the morning highlighting the irreplaceable place a mother has in one's life.
Students were told to be more appreciative towards all that their mothers do for them right from making their food, helping them with homework, telling them stories and putting them to bed. Rich tribute was paid by the students to their mothers for putting all the efforts they put in bringing up their children.
Students of different classes presented heart touching songs admiring their mothers for the strength and determination that inspires them to pursue a better life. It was followed by a dance performance, skit and poem recitation.
All the students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Class activities like card making and poster making were also conducted in which the students poured out their love for their mothers with the help of colours and different decorative material. The Principal of the school R. K. Verma spoke very high about the status of the mother in our society. He said that mother is the most beautiful gift of God to mankind. Nobody can take her place in shaping the future of her children and turning them into good human beings. |
