Jammu, May 14: Jammu West Assembly Movement members today staged a protest demonstration against the PDD and PHE threatened to start massive agitation against these departments. A protest was held by the residents of west assembly constituency, with empty utensils at New Plot Janipur High court road, against the PHE and PDD ministry for not constructing the Chenab water supply project, and no work done for the improvement of water supply in the Jammu city, acute sacristy of the drinking water and long duration power cuts have started in Jammu city and the west assembly constituency.
Addressing the protestors Dimple said no water supplied in the constituency for the last four days, the people have no drinking water to drinking water to cook food, bathing, washing clothes , all schools, temples, hospitals hotels, industries, have gone dry.
Dimple served 24 ultimatums to the PHE Ministry and threatened to start massive agitation Jan Andolan against the PDD, PHE Ministry. As all water supplies in the Jammu city had been badly affected for the last four days due to unscheduled power cuts.
Dimple said no water tankers are being supplied at the affected areas and all water tankers are at halt. Sunil Dimple also criticized the BJP Ministers, MLAs, MP for sitting mum silent and are not doing any effort to start the construction work of the Akhnoor Chinav water supply project |
