| Locals say PHE fails to provide water to residents but water tanker available for leader | | Scarcity of water | |  Early Times Report
Mendhar, July 1: As per locals of Mendhar, PHE department's water tanker is seen to providing water to a local leader's house while the residents crying for the water for last many days but no one has paid heed.
The people of Mendhar objectionably said that on one side Mendhar people were facing an acute water shortage in whole division but PHE department has allegedly adopted dual yardsticks one for leaders and another for locals.
Owing to casual approach, the resident s are facing huhe problem as the concerned has failed to provide water despite repeated requests.
It was much of astonished when the people of Mendhar saw the only tanker of water was providing the facility to a local leader. People of Mendhar divison said that it was injustice with them. They appealed to DC Poonch to intervene in the matter. They demanded an impartial enquiry to DC into the said matter. |
