Jammu, July 1: In a shocking incident, members of Taxi Union, Railway Station Jammu today reportedly pelted stones on the vehicles from Punjab which were going to pick Amarnath yatries from Punjab forcing the yatries to leave for their homes without completing the yatra, alleged the drivers of these vehicles. According to reports, today early in the morning members of Taxi Union, Railway Station Jammu started thrashing the yatries when drivers of vehicles from Punjab started picking Punjab based yatries in their vehicles and also pelted stones on their vehicles resulting in damages to their vehicles.
On reaching Lakhanpur, yatris interacted with local media and shared their agony. While talking to local media, Punjab based yatries appealed to Yatris for hiring taxis from Pathankot or any other part from Punjab. |
