NSUI demands full fledged University status to Bhaderwah Campus

JAMMU, July 1: NSUI demanded full fledged University status to Bhaderwah campus during a function organized by Intkhab Khan.
CK Sharma state general zur of Chenab Valley to review the education field of Valley concluded today.
The main demand which students raised and were raising from a long time is full fledged University status to Bhaderwah Campus. Bhaderwah campus is the best alternative of Jammu University for students of whole Chenab Valley as this is located at a place which can benefit students from more than 4 Districts.
Addressing gathering, CK Sharma said it is very unfortunate that previous BJP PDP Government discriminated with Chenab Valley and no step was taken to uplift the education sector of Chenab Valley. Further he mentioned that students from areas like Bhalesa, Paddar, Marwda, Dacchan, Warawan, Kishtwar, Ramban, Banihal have to face many problems due to the only option of Jammu University.
He demanded that Full fledged University status should be given to Campus otherwise NSUI will stage mass movement on roads.
Intkhab Khan, said that they have submitted a Memorandum to, MLA Bhaderwah, MLC, ex education Minister, Altaf Bhukari and also a copy to Governor but no steps were taken for up gradation of Bhaderwah campus. Further he mentioned that Campus has good infrastructure, 420 canal land and 400 canal more notified. But this all is worthless as the campus has only few PG courses.
He also demanded to introduce more PG and UG courses and to upgrade Bhaderwah Campus to full fledged University to end the suffering of Chenab valley students.
Other who were present there were, Maninder Singh Class Representative Boys, Komal Arora, Class Representative Girls, Assdulah Khan, executive Member, Swati Kotwal, poonam Sharma, Meenakshi, Anita, Nazia Bano, Sumaya Naaz.
