Pouni, July 1: Wrestler Kulbeer of Jammu defeated Wrestler Vikas of Delhi and lifted 54th Sai Galli (Sunder Bani) Dangal Title 2018. The Dangal was organized by Sai Galla Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Wrestling Association at village Sai Galla in Sunder Bani.
Dangal was witnessed by a large gathering from Jammu, Rajouri and Reasi Districts. The first malli bout winner Wrestler Kulbeer was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 4,100/ while runners-up Wrestler Vikas got Rs 3,000 by the management of Sai Galla Dangal Committee. 65 bouts were played in the one day long Dangal and an amount of Rs 1,05,000 was distributed in the shape of cash prizes among the winners and runners-up Wrestlers.
Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Renowned wrestler and wrestling promoter was the chief guest who gave away cash prizes to the winners and runners-up Wrestlers while Rash Paul Sharma Vice President JKWA was the guests of honour. 2nd main bout was won by Manjeet of Sanjay Akhara Delhi who defeated Sanjay of Jammu, while 3rd bout was won by Vikas of Haryana who defeated Billa of Domana Akhara Jammu.
Members and Technical officials who helped for smooth conduct of this Dangal included Bharat Raj Retd. HeadMaster (President), Rash Paul Sharma Vice President JKWA, Surinder Kumar, Gurdyal, Kewal Krishan, Mohan Lal, Madan Lal, Parladh Singh, and Sanjeev Sharma who also officiated the final bouts of wrestling beside presenting wrestling commentary. Meanwhile, in women bouts, Geeta of Rahtok beat Bina of Delhi and Manisha of Rohtak defeated Jyoti of Delhi. Meanwhile, Renowned wrestlers and wrestling promoters of the area Viz. Sanjeev Kumar Shama, Rashpal Sharma and Gurdyal Sharma Actor and stunt Performer were also felicitated by the management of dangal committee.
