JAMMU, Oct 24: The Circular issued by the education department regarding introduction of religious books written by Martyr Sarvanand Premi and within 24 hours stands withdrawn under the orders of the chief secretary, Jammu and Kashmir is flayed by All India Kashmiri Samaj.
In a meeting at New Delhi, the President AIKS, Col.Tej Tikoo expressed unhappiness on the Part of the state administration. He said, in a secular country where the countrymen should know all about all the religious scriputers, the vested interested politicians see the good move by the myopic thinking for political gains.
The others, who spoke, impressed upon the essential unity of all religions and necessarily to introduce the studies in School. The participants in the meeting besides president included the Vice President Vijay Kashkari, the General Secretary M K Pajan and Treasurer Sanjay Sapru. |
