Speedball players of J&K leave for Kuwait

Jammu, Oct 24: Adding one more achievement in the state's sports profile, five speedball players from Jammu and Kashmir will be take part in 30th World Speedball Championship to be held at Kuwait, with ace player Sunny Nanda to lead the Indian Team from Oct. 26 To Oct. 30, 2018. Inspector General of Police S.D Jamwal (IPS) Informed during this in a press conference held in this regard at Police Head Quarter, Jammu here today. Inspector General of Police wished good luck and congratulated the players namely Sunny Nanda, Bhumika Gupta(Mvi), Nakul Gupta(Mvi), Hardeep Singh(Aps), Gurvansh Choudhary (Dhss) for being selected in 30th World Speedball Championship. He hoped that they will exhibit outstanding performance in the international sports event and bring laurels to the nation and state. Eleven players from different states of India are participating in this World Championship. Among others Pooja Malhotra founder patron of the association, V.K Sharma Chief Advisor, Pawan Kumar Media Incharge, Anil Nanda Event Director And Tarun Uppal President Dogra Sadar Sabha(Youth Wing)were also present on see off function at Police HQ.
