Dr Shahid Mughal elected Chairman of MC Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, Oct 24: Amid high drama that lasted for days, the BJP extended the support of all its 3 ward members in the MCB to power the Independent candidate Dr Shahid Mughal to the post of Chairman where as Vice Chairman will be from BJP. The three days long resort politics between the Independent candidates and BJP has resulted in the coalition Committee in Bhaderwah. Dr Shahid Mughal , 64 , who won from ward 08 is the Bhaderwah 11th Chairman.
Dr Shahid Mughal , a first -time ward member , has earlier served as Dy Director in health department and Chief Medical officer Doda and was also a member of the various health department Committees of the state and his organisation Bhaderwah Bhalessa Charalla Development Front won 4 seats from Bhaderwah. In Bhaderwah there are 13 wards and to become chairman of the Committee one needs support of 7 members. Meanwhile, BBCDF and BJP elected candidates promised to work for the people of Bhaderwah. All the problems in different wards will be addressed at the earliest and jurisdiction of wards will be extended to Sartingal and Amira Nagar and additional 10 wards will be created in Bhaderwah town, Moghal said.
