JAMMU, Oct 27: A delegation of Sunrise Public School, unit of Sunrise Educational Trust Channi Himmat Jammu. Rajesh Sharma, Manpreet Kour and Sonali Wazir met with Vikramaditya Singh at Hari Palace Jammu.
Rajesh Sharma founder of the trust explained about the activities of school and said we have started in 2012 with the strength of 7 to 12 boys and girls. Now we have 181 boys and girls and it is up to primary level. "We are providing free education, free stationery, free uniform, free refreshments to the weaker section of the society without any cast and creed, "Manpreet Kour Director of the school said, adding that they are planning to go upto 12th standard and will provide free lodging boarding and after completion of the 12th they can go for any other professional courses like engineering, MBBS, BCA, BBA, Army, Navy or Merchant Navy and at the same time. Vikramaditya Singh appreciated the team members and said education plays a very important role and every child should get the education because children are the future of the state and the country and promised to visit the school in their next visit to Jammu.
